Background
He began his legal career in 1991 as a practicing criminal legal aid attorney. Since that time he has had more than 17 years of experience providing legal assistance and legal support throughout many countries in Asia, and globally.
In addition to his legal assistance work, he has also been appointed as a visiting Law Lecturer at a number of universities throughout Asia, including Chiang Mai University, as well as Australia. Bruce has also assisted a number of governments in legislative drafting and review.
Bruce is credited as being one of the pioneering members in assisting in the strengthening Asia Pro Bono Movement and is a member of the International Organizing Committee Member of the regionally developed Asia Pro Bono Consortium. He is also the Co-Founder and Co-Director of the International Access to Justice Organization, BABSEACLE and is a Board of Director for the Southeast Asia Legal Aid Network (SEALAW), the Global Alliance for Justice Education (GAJE) and the child protection/community development organization, Sustainable Cambodia (SC).
Areas of Practice
Bruce has been a professional legal trainer for lawyers, law societies, paralegals and others worldwide. He has written articles and book chapters on a variety of substantive law and access to justice thematic topics and has been published widely. He has presented at, and facilitated, countless legal related conferences and workshops worldwide focusing on access to justice, client centered lawyering, legal ethics and pro bono practice.
Bruce brings to Lanna Lawyers many years’ experience in most areas of general practice including business law and corporations, contract law, personal injury, wills and estates and property law. He also brings to the firm his many years of training and practice in criminal law and procedure.
It is important to note, while Bruce is a licensed lawyer in the State of Florida USA, he is not licensed to practice law in Thailand. His role in the Firm is generally to assist the Thai legal team in the consultation and communication functions with non-Thai/English speaking clients, and manage the interaction with these clients. All official legal actions, including working and communicating with administrative agencies, and all court appearances are attended and performed by licensed Thai lawyers.

It is important to note, while Joe holds a current Australian Practicing Certificate, he is not licensed to practice law in Thailand. His role in the Firm is generally to assist the Thai legal team in the consultation and communication functions with non-Thai/English speaking clients, and manage the interaction with these clients. All official legal actions, including working and communicating with administrative agencies, and all court appearances are attended and performed by licensed Thai lawyers.

Worraluk Toongraor (Noon)
Background
After completing her secondary education at Chiang Mai Worraluk “Noon” Toongraor studied law at Chiang Mai University graduating with a Bachelor of Law degree in 2011. She is licensed lawyer in Thailand and has worked with Upparat Law and Lanna Lawyers since graduating.
Despite her youthful appearance Noon has developed a reputation as one of Chiang Mai’s leading young litigation lawyers. She practices in the areas of criminal and civil litigation as well as in probate, property and real estate law.
She appears regularly in the Provincial, Family and Juvenile Courts in Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Fang and Lamphun as well as in Bangkok. Her work also often involves attendances at prisons to interview clients.
As well as her native Thai language Noon speaks and reads Mandarin and English.

Mungkorn Tangchitruambon (Boss)
Background
After graduating Boss commenced work as a legal officer with Grand Canal Public Company Limited a leading Bangkok property developer. His work included the drafting of contracts, overseeing land transactions and liaison with Land Offices, Planning Departments and government authorities.
After working in that position for two years he then took up employment in a more senior position with Mumkong Kehakarn Public Company Limited, another well known property developer. In that position he was responsible for the drafting and establishment of Articles and Bylaws for corporate housing estates. This gave him a considerable experience in the areas of corporate and business law.
He joined Upparat Law and Lanna Lawyers in 2015. He has since established himself as our property and corporate law specialist supervising due diligence and title investigation procedures and attending to our Thai commercial and business law operations.

Sakkarin Nantalit (Mix)
Background
SAKKARIN NANTALIT (nicknamed Mix) is a licensed lawyer in Thailand. He graduated with a Bachelor of Law degree from University of Phayao in 2014. Soon after graduating from Phayao University, he worked at Upparat Law office Office in Chaing Mai as a Paralegal. Following this, Mix when on to obtain his lawyer’s license, and practiced at the Pathum Thani Law Office in Bangkok. Mix returned to work with Upparat Law Office and Lanna Lawyers in November 2018.

Background
Sugrid Junsin (nicknamed Game), graduated with a Bachelor of Law degree from Chiang Mai University (CMU) with second-class honors in 2017. During his studies at CMU he did an internship with Upparat Law Office and Lanna Lawyers in Chiang Mai Thailand working on both civil and criminal cased. He also successfully completed an internship program with TOA Paint (Thailand) Public Company Limited, focusing on labor, civil and criminal law. Soon after graduating from CMU Game worked at Ookbee U Company Limited. While there, his job responsibilities included reviewing legal agreements and employee hiring practices. In November 2018 Game returned to work with Upparat Law Office and Lanna Lawyers as a paralegal.
